Canadian Stock Gainers: CVE:HSTR, CVE:NHP, CVE:DELX, CVE:NEWU

Heliostar Metals Ltd. (CVE:HSTR) is the biggest percentage gainer on the Canadian market on Wednesday. The stock soared C$0.45 or 34.62% to C$1.75. Total volume for the session stood at 338K million shares, well above its 30-day average volume of 45K shares. Investors are reacting positively to the company’s results from the first four drill holes completed at Unga in 2021. The company has three drill rigs on the project and has completed 36 holes for a total of 4,245 metres to date.

Lumiera Health Inc. (CVE:NHP) continued its uptrend and is among the top winners as the stock went up C$0.01 or 33.33% to $0.04. The stock saw a lower volume with more than 180K shares traded hands, compared to its daily average volume of 304K shares. Last week, the company announced that it has signed an agreement with Vancouver based Ecotrend Ecologics for the national distribution of Bazzzics™, a natural health product line made with a proprietary blend of plant-based extracts that have demonstrated efficacy for sleep and anxiety disorders.

DelphX Capital Markets Inc. (CVE:DELX) continued to gain momentum. DELX stock leaped by 34.72% to C$0.4850. Total volume for the session was 289K shares – almost 2.70X its average volume of 324K shares. The stock opened at C$0.40 and moved within a range of C$0.4000 – 0.4850. This morning, the company announced the appointment of industry veterans Salim Hasham and Joe Castelluccio to its Strategic Advisory Board.

Newtopia Inc. (CVE:NEWU) is moving higher by 26.50% in the opening session at C$0.430. Total volume for the session is 1.80 million shares – well above its average volume of 151K shares. The stock opened at C$0.38 and moved within a range of C$0.3700 – 0.4400. NEWU stock has lost 43% so far this year.
