On Wednesday, the Wikileaf Technologies Inc (OTCMKTS:FFLWF) stock may have been trading within a range but the company did make a major announcement that could eventually have an effect on its stock. The company announced that, as previously indicated, it successfully closed the sale of all of its digital assets to Fire & Flower Holding Corp and Hifyre Inc.
The sale of the digital assets, which includes the company’s website www.wikileaf.com , has been sold in a deal that is worth as much as $7.5 million. However, in this context, it should be noted that the deal has been conducted in stock and not cash.
Fire & Flower issued a total of 8,017,103 shares of its common stock for completing the deal. The Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the company, Connor Cruise, spoke about the deal as well. He stated that the company was pleased at the fact that it managed to finally closed to sale of its digital assets to Fire & Flower and Hifyre. He went on to state that one of the aspects of the cannabis industry to have been underrated by many is technology. Investors could consider keeping an eye on the Wikileaf stock this morning.
