American Films Subsidiary Named As Data Provider in Major Anti-Piracy Lawsuits Against Multiple ISPs

Facterra has been roped in to provide its services as a data provider in these cases due to its responsibility to fulfil its role as part of an anti-piracy contract that it holds with a major copyrights holder. The copyrights holder is a major name in the film and television industry which represents thousands of titles.

It should be noted Facterra is a service provider which is involved in providing its clients with services which help in fighting off digital piracy effectively. It records and identifies the data with regards to copyrights infringement on worldwide BitTorrent networks and then issues copyright infringement notices. The President and Chief Executive Officer of American Films Geoff Lee spoke about the latest development too. He noted that the latest development was a major new development in the history of the company as it continued to provide its services to copyrights holders.
