Comscore Inc (NASDAQ:SCOR) Stock Forms Bearish Trend: Time to Sell?

The announcement of the date for the publication of financial results can have an effect on the stock of a company and so it did on the Comscore Inc (NASDAQ:SCOR) stock.

Earlier on in the week, the media planning company announced that it will host a conference call to discuss its financial results for the second quarter on at 5 p.m. EDT on August 9, 2021. The company also noted that those who wish to participate in the call need to dial at least 10 minutes before the beginning of the conference call in order to get registered.

However, that is not all. Comscore also announced that the conference call is going to available on live webcast on its own website. Interested parties could use this link ir.comscore.com/events-presentations to access the presentation.

The announcement from the company led to a selloff in the stock and it declined by as much as 2.50% on the back of the announcement. Last week, Comscore had announced that Greg Fink, its Chief Financial Officer was going to step down from his position in order to pursue other interests. Fink had joined the company back in 2017 and he is going to quite at the end of August this year.

Market Reaction:

On Tuesday, SCOR stock decreased 2.48% at $3.94 with more than 480k shares, compared to its average volume of 584k shares. The stock has moved within a range of $3.9400 – 4.0600 after opening the trade at $4.04. Over the past 52-week, the stock has been trading within a range of $1.8000 – 5.2500.
