Dark Pulse, Inc. has announced on July 13, 2022, about signing an LOI for acquiring Om Optel Industries Pvt. Ltd., a Fiber Optic Cable and HDPE Pipe Manufacturer based in India.

Founded in 2015, Om Optel is a leading ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 company that maintains a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for high-quality Optical Fiber Cable (OFC), Optical Patch Cords, and Multilayer Polyfilms, HDPE pipes, and Injection Molding products. It is a professionally managed organization that has developed its core competence in the manufacturing of valuable products using cutting-edge technologies and excellence in services.

DarkPulse Chairman and CEO, Dennis O’Leary, states that more than 60% of expenses associated with the installation of fiber sensors is due to the optical cables needed during the process. Thanks to this acquisition, DarkPulse can now offer highly competitive installation pricing, while affording them the capability of manufacturing and designing specialized optical sensing cable products.

He further elaborated that Om Optel’s HDPE pipe manufacturing business allows DarkPulse to offer gas pipeline products both with and without integrated leak detection capabilities. In the future, DarkPulse and OM Kothari Group plan on working together across a multitude of industries that including Smart Infrastructure. The acquisition is pending closing, which is to be completed after ironing out a definitive acquisition agreement and customary due diligence.
