Exchange Bank Announces Stacey Powers, Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager

Exchange Bank, on August 15, 2022, announced the appointment of Stacey Powers, VP, commercial relationship manager to Exchange Bank’s Commercial Banking team. She will report to Steve Herron, SVP, commercial banking manager.

Stacey has more than 35 years of experience in the banking industry, which will be invaluable at the Exchange Bank, where her main focus is to drive new relationship growth throughout the North Bay and Sacramento County regions. She attended Santa Rosa Junior College and has completed a certification in the AMA Negotiation Program. She is extremely active in the community and has served on various boards including Vintage Cutting Horse Association and Petaluma Riding and Driving Club.

She started her banking career at North Bay Savings Bank in the Residential Real Estate, Commercial, and Consumer Credit groups. It was acquired by Bank of the West in 1996, after which, Stacey held positions as the commercial/business officer and retail banking manager and was awarded the President’s Club Award for building branch teams that provided the highest level of service while assisting businesses within the community.

In 2016, Stacey joined Rabobank 2016 as a business banking officer, helping to grow commercial loans throughout Napa and Sonoma counties. She transitioned to American River Bank in 2018, as a commercial relationship/business banking officer focusing on providing commercial loans to the businesses in the community and assisting with PPP loans during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Exchange Bank Wins Top Corporate Philanthropist Award for 2022

On August 11, 2022, there was an announcement that Exchange Bank was named by the San Francisco Business Times as a Top Corporate Philanthropist in the Bay Area based on the percentage of cash contributions relative to the company’s income before taxes. It ranked 52 on the top 100 list and contributed more than the threshold of 1% to local nonprofits in 2021.

Exchange Bank has even received the North Bay Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” for 17 consecutive years! It was also named “Best Consumer Bank” by the NorthBay biz Magazine’s readers’ poll. The Sonoma Valley People’s Choice Awards and the Petaluma Argus-Courier People’s Choice Awards both named Exchange Bank “Best Local Bank 2022” and the Bohemian Magazine’s Best of the North Bay 2022 named Exchange Bank “Best Business Bank and Best Consumer Bank.
