However, the stock has soared 22% so far this year. On Thursday, CNTX stock soared 24.21% to $6.26 with more than 18.25 million shares exchanged hands, above its average volume of 5.90 million shares. 

Edgewell Personal Care Company (NYSE:EPC) is another stock in the energy sector which has been showing consistent rise. The stock has moved up 16% over the past one month. Moreover, the stock has soared 28% so far this year. The stock is trading above 48% from its 52-week low and 4% away  from its 52-week high.

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (NYSE:TMO) stock continued to trend higher in Thursday’s trading session. NE stock ended higher by 0.17% to $637.07 with more than 1.02 million shares exchanged hands, below its average volume of 1.38 million shares. The stock is trading above 44% from its 52-week low and 4% away  from its 52-week high.

Enerplus Corporation (NYSE:ERF) is another stock in the energy sector which has been showing consistent rise. The stock has moved up 78% over the past one quarter. Moreover, the stock has soared 234% so far this year. The stock is trading above 260% from its 52-week low and 40% away  from its 52-week high.

Allied Energy Corp.  (OTCMKTS:AGYP): On a more speculative note, AGYP deserve a look from investors as they have recently announced signing a new lease and also struck oil on their leased well sites located in Texas. Global energy prices are at 7 year highs. With the need for more domestic energy growing apparent, AGYP and its US based exploration projects may benefit. AGYP recently issued news that they have achieved production on the #1, #2, and #5 wells of the Gilmer Lease in Texas. AGYP announced they are making progress on the Prometheus lease as well.
