Orbit International Corp (OTCMKTS:ORBT) Stock On Radar After Recent News

Software solutions provider and electronics manufacturer Orbit International Corp (OTCMKTS:ORBT) is one of the companies which may well be worth looking into ahead of the start of trading this morning.

Orbit International Corp. Appoints Marshall Sterman to Its Board of Directors

The company announced yesterday that it appointed a new member of its board of directors in the form of Marshall Sterman. He is going to replace Bernard Karcinell in the company’s board. Karcinell passed away in November last year. In his new role, Sterman is going to head up the company’s Audit Committee and will also be a part of the Compensation and Nominating, and Corporate Governance Committees.

In this situation, it could be a good move for investors to consider taking a look at Sterman’s credentials before making up their minds about the appointment. He is a qualified CPA and currently serves as the President of the strategic advisory services firm HMS Advisors LLC. In the past, he had been a partner at the Manhattan-based firm Mazars LLP for as long as 24 years.

The President and Chief Executive Officer of Orbit International, Mitchell Binder, noted that everyone at the company was delighted to have been able to welcome some of Sterman’s experience to the company’s board.
