It uses its unique “Closed Environment Vertical Aquaponic System (CEVAS™) to reinvent agriculture. It is creating the farming of the future, the Company says. Pontus specializes in indoor vertical farming of water lentils.

Environmentally Friendly Solution Of Global Food Crisis

One catalyst for investors is that the Pontus proprietary system uses 95% less water than traditional agriculture. The Company is focused on providing sustainable indoor bio-secure pure plant-based proteins. The goal is to solve the global food crisis. It farms and creates Pontus Protein Powder. The lentils contain greater than 40% protein. Pontus seeks to offer it as the ‘base protein’ for plant-based food products. The Company is focused on disrupting the agriculture industry from its base farm in Vancouver, B.C. It sees the world transitioning to plant-based foods and proteins.

The Company plans to expand in 2022 to a 60,000 sq. ft. production farm. It also eyes a positive EBITDA in the near future. Part of the strategy is to license its sustainable CEVAS™ technology. It says it already has interest from Europe and China.
