Seven Arts announced that the horror film would be co-produced in collaboration with Madlor Films, Muse Media, THC Music & Films in addition to a number of other production companies and studios. The additional studios and production companies were still in negotiations with Seven Arts Entertainment, as per yesterday’s news release.

It was also revealed that the parties involved in the production had also recruited Nick Principe, the actor and stuntman for playing the lead character in the aforementioned film. Principe is renowned for having acted as ‘ChromeSkull’ in a number of ‘slasher films’. In the news release it was further noted that the producers would look to recruit a number of notable as well as obscure actors from a number of horror films. They intent to pay a tribute to the genre while providing a modern story. The principal photography and pre-production work are both expected to begin at some point in the first quarter of 2024. The work would take place in New York State and Atlanta.

Seven Arts Entertainment would announce the name of the film, provide promotional material and other key updates once mutual agreement is reached between all the related parties. Thom Hazaert, who is a director at the company, spoke about the latest development as well.

He expressed his excitement at the fact that he was revisiting the horror film genre once again. Hazaert also stated that in the particular project he would be able to make use of its experience of having worked with Scream Factory and others.
