Sokoman Minerals Corp (OTCMKTS:SICNF) Stock Down 25% in a Month: But Why?

Sokoman Minerals Corp (OTCMKTS:SICNF) was in the news yesterday after it provided a key update but investors are possibly more concerned with the fact that the stock has tanked by as much as 25% over the course of the past month.

Yesterday, the company made a joint announcement with Benton Resources Inc with regards to 35 to 58 follow up samples that had been extracted from the swarm of Lithium containing pegmatite dikes that were discovered recently. The discovery was made by the companies at the Golden Hope Joint Venture that is located in the south western region of Newfoundland.

The findings from the samples were quite positive. It has been confirmed that the pegmatites actually contain Lithium to a significant degree. It goes without saying that it is a major finding for Sokoman Minerals and one that could also come as a source of optimism for investors.

However, as mentioned above, the stock has performed poorly over the past month. It is going to be interesting to see if investors flock to the stock today or not. At this point, investors could do well to keep an eye on the stock and see if any fresh news emerges about Sokoman.
