Copper Fox (CUU.V) (OTCQX: CPFXF) Successfully Conducts Hyperspectral Survey for Advancement of Sombrero Butte Copper Project

A company that may be worth looking into following the developments from earlier on in the week is Copper Fox Metals Inc (CUU.V) (OTCQX: CPFXF). On June 27, the company along with its subsidiary Desert Fox Copper Inc, announced that the planned Hyperspectral Survey for its 100% owned Sombrero Butter copper project had been completed.

The project is situated around 3 kilometers to the South of the Copper Creek porphyry copper deposit in the Bunker Hill Mining district in the state of Arizona. The President and Chief Executive Officer of the company Elmer B Stewart spoke about the latest development as well.

Stewart stated that the extensive overburden cover at the property had affected the efforts to map and find the degree of mineralized breccia pipe clusters and porphyry cluster alteration patterns. He went on to note that two distinct styles of alteration had been identified at the property.

The overburden at the property had been the reason why the company had decided to conduct the Hyperspectral Survey there. It should be noted that previous drilling at the property had demonstrated that both buried breccia and exposed pipes could contain considerable amounts of copper mineralization.
