OneMeta Inc (OTC:ONEI) Stock Rallies 35%: What’s The Buzz?

Investors who may be on the hunt for stocks to track this morning could do well to take a look at some of the stocks which recorded significant gains on Thursday. One such stock was that of OneMeta Inc (OTC:ONEI), which experienced considerable action yesterday and ended up with gains of as much as 35%.

The company was in the news cycle yesterday and it may be a good time to consider taking a look. OneMeta announced yesterday that it had inked a Letter of Intent with the Gregory-Portland Independent School District (GPISD). The company noted in its news release that the letter of intent was pertaining to the launch of a pilot program with the translation and transcription software from OneMeta. The GPISD consists of a total of 6 schools with 4720 students and out of those students, 60% is made up of minority students. The Chief Executive Officer of the company Saul Leal had delivered a formal presentation at the Texas Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents  (TALAS) on September 27, 2023.

The presentation highlighted how the software could be used by teachers as well as school administrators to interact with the students and their families whose native language is not English. Leal noted at the time that the schools had a large number of students who did not speak English proficiently. However with the help of the tool from OneMeta it would be possible for the school to hold fruitful parent teacher meetings.

If necessary, it would also be possible to communicate clearly with the families of the students. He went on to add that owing to the high interest levels that had been shown by the school superintendents, he expected many more schools districts in Texas as well as other states to sign similar Letter of Intent for pilot projects. The schools would launch pilot initiatives this year so that they can deploy the software completely in the 2024-25 academic year.

On October 3 the company had been in focus as well after it announced that it was going to launch its path breaking new phone to phone language translation tool VerbumCall. The company noted at the time that the solution was going to revolutionise the extent of human communication in a big way. The solution, powered by a focus on sentiment, interpretation of languages and context, managed to clock accuracy levels of as much as 94%. Such accurate phone to phone translation would help in breaking down language barriers and help in connecting the world in an unprecedented way.

OneMeta came up with the new product through the deployment of its Adaptive Multilingual Recognition System VerbamOS. VerbamCall would set a whole new standard in the particular space by providing interpretation and translation services across 152 languages. The company went on to add that in order to use VerbamCall there is no necessity for an app or even the internet. It is the sort of revolutionary product which could be of significant benefit to businesses and governments among others.
